ROGER GRACIE BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU (BJJ)
Roger Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most recognised and respected Martial Arts in the world and we are proud to be an official academy here in Marlow.
Started by the Gracie family in Brazil, the art became world famous when the Gracie family entered and won the early Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) events. BJJ has proven itself time and time again as the ‘go to’ art for realistic self-defence. Roger Gracie is regarded by almost anyone with knowledge of BJJ to be the greatest competitor that has existed in the sport. He resides in London, teaching at the Roger Gracie Academy HQ.
BJJ is now practiced worldwide, with a regulated belt system that is immensely respected all over the world. It takes many years to achieve a single belt in BJJ, and your belt grade is recognised wherever you go.
We have a complete range of classes in both Gi Jiu-Jitsu and No-Gi 7 days a week covering early morning sessions, lunchtimes, and evenings.
GENESIS KICKBOXING
Kickboxing is one of the most dynamic and exciting combat sports to participate in. There is both intensity and technicality within your training, during a kickboxing class you’ll learn not only how to kick and punch but also how to defend yourself, work as a team, as an individual and so much more. Expect to learn some serious striking skills with a structured learning system, complete with energising pad work training sessions.
Our classes a suitable for both teens and adults alike. Classes are run by our expert team of coaches with 15+ years of Martial Arts experience each, World Champion titles and Personal Training qualifications.
GENESIS CHILDREN’S KICKBOXING
We are proud to provide a versatile and exciting Martial Arts Academy exploring Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts for children.
Our kickboxing academy is split into two ages groups:
– Genesis Kids: 4.5-8 years
– Genesis Youth: 9-13 years
Children will be taught from a specific Kickboxing programme tailored for these students in mind. They will get the opportunity to grade through series of 8 belts and compete as a team during their Martial Arts journey guided by our expert instructors.
During these kickboxing sessions children will enhance skills such as:
- Self Defence
- Fitness
- Discipline
- Respect
- Confidence
- Anti-bullying
ROGER GRACIE CHILDREN’S ACADEMY
Roger Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most recognised and respected Martial Arts in the world and we are proud to be an official academy here in Marlow.
As an official academy, your child will follow the official Roger Gracie curriculum and Belt progression system, which is recognised world wide. Our classes will focus on realistic and active self-defence skills that will benefit children massively in everyday life.
Our RGA Children’s Academy runs in 3 ages groups:
– RGA Kids: 4.5-6 years
– RGA Youth: 7-10 years
– RGA Teens: 11-15 years
PRIVATE TRAINING
Whether you are looking to begin your journey or progress with your current one, with the instruction our coaches you’ll be guided the whole way creating a valuable and exciting experience. We are proud to have a team of coaches who are highly skilled and knowledgeable in their fields, many which hold National, European and World Titles.
Coaches can provide both private and semi-private sessions in Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for children and adults.
