2020 Newsletter!

2020 here at Genesis Gym which means…

A new members bar, lounge and coffee shop, building a community around what we are good at.

This January we are pleased to launch our members only lounge! You will now have the opportunity to take a seat, grab a coffee and chill out with other students and coaches before and after training. PLUS a dedicated fightwear shop featuring all Genesis Gym x Tatami fightwear.

Our new online training platform from our coaches, covering all our styles and including a module for parents.

Coming this year is our online training platform giving you 24/7 access to training content from our Grading syllabus to our MMA Beginners Course. Stay tuned for more information. Alongside this we are excited to launch our Genesis Gym podcast with confirmed VIP guests.

New Classes!

• Gym Owner and Head Coach Paul Busby is back to teach our NEW adults kickboxing class every Tuesday 6:15-7:30pm! Be ready for an intense session with the tunes turned up full blast. Do not miss this session! This session pairs perfectly with our Thursday Kickboxing sessions plus our full contact and K1 sessions.

• Black Belt prep classes for Juniors every Friday 5:00-6:15pm. We invite our Junior students who are keen to get through the grading practice in and ready for their next belts to join us for this session!

• Dragons Grading: Saturday 14th March

• Main Grading (Juniors & Adults): Sunday 15th March

Summer:

• Dragons Grading: Saturday 11th July

• Main Grading (Juniors & Adults): Sunday 12th July

Autumn/Winter:

• Dragons Grading: Saturday 28th November

• Main Grading (Juniors & Adults): Sunday 29th November

Grading times will be available when grading letters go out leading up to the grading’s!

• GB Grandslam Western – Sunday 5th April 2020

Kickboxing Points Fighting. Childrens and Adults divisions, entries must be made prior to competition. If you are interested in competing please speak your coach or a member of the gym team. SGS Wise, Bristol, BS34 8LP.

• GB Grandslam Southeastern – Sunday 7th June 2020

Kickboxing Points Fighting. Childrens and Adults divisions, entries must be made prior to competition. If you are interested in competing please speak your coach or a member of the gym team. K2 Crawley, West Sussex, RH11 9BQ

Adults Christmas Party 2020

Almost a years notice for our 2020 Christmas Party! This years adults Christmas Party will be held here at the gym – expect big things. Get this date in your diary – Saturday 12th December 2020.
